As part of Aviva’s Marketing Operations team, you will be responsible for ownership and development of Aviva’s marketing automation platform, Marketo. This includes day-to-day execution of activities relating to marketing and operational email campaigns; planning, setup, and maintenance of ongoing email programs, automated workflows, and triggered campaigns; and ongoing analysis of existing efforts to deliver continuous optimization and improvement.
In addition to the above, you’ll apply your deep knowledge of Marketing Technology systems to support on publishing, integrations, ongoing enhancements, and/or system administration activities on core platforms, including Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud and work management software (JIRA/Asana/Workfront).
Our mission is to support Aviva’s marketing efforts across Canada through a variety of audiences and distribution channels. The ideal candidate is someone with 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing platforms, and who is passionate about the latest trends / best-practices in marketing and email campaigns.

What you’ll do :

Develop and execute end-to-end marketing automation campaigns in Marketo
·
Manage and segment databases to ensure targeted and personalized communications
·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into effective automated marketing strategies
·
Create and optimize landing pages, email templates, and other assets within the Marketo platform
·
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
·
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing automation.
What you’ll bring:
·
3-5+ years of hands-on experience building Marketo programs
·
Marketo Engage Certification; Professional or Expert an asset.
·
Proven experience as a Marketo specialist, with a strong understanding of marketing automation principles.
·
Proficiency in creating and implementing complex automated workflows and campaigns.
·
Solid knowledge of lead management, segmentation, and nurturing strategies.
·
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimization.
·
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
