Commercial & Outsourcing Legal Team: - Legal Counsel

Salary – circa £50,000

Are you a newly qualified solicitor,  legal executive, or a paralegal solicitor with commercial contract experience (preferably with procurement and supply chain contracts)? Then look no further this role is for you!

We are currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join our legal team.  The role can be based in our Norwich, York or Bristol offices.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, has a can-do attitude, and is keen to develop their legal and contractual experience by advising upon and negotiating upon a range of commercial contracts (although the focus will initially be on our healthcare business); as part of a supportive team of experienced legal professionals . Training and support is available to help develop your career.

A bit about the job:

Join our Commercial & Outsourcing legal team and take on a pivotal role advising upon and negotiating supplier-facing contracts in our healthcare business. Collaborate closely with a team member transitioning into semi-retirement, gaining exposure to a diverse range of commercial contracts, including high-value outsourcing, I.T., construction, sponsorship, marketing, supply chain (including claims handling), and third-party data contracts.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Newly qualified solicitor/legal executive/paralegal.

Ability to advise upon and negotiate commercial contracts (including procurement and supply chain contracts).

Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving in a creative and innovative manner.

Technical knowledge of areas of law relevant to commercial contracts.

Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.

What you’ll get for this role:

Salary – circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
