Distribution Support Consultant

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £23,900 per annum

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Support Consultant to join our growing distribution support team in Sheffield. As a Distribution Support Consultant you will provide support to Financial Advisers, using our adviser platform and working with our sales teams, platform adoption team and Platform Account Management team.

You will work closely with the face to face and telephony Distribution Sales teams to onboard new accounts, support a range of pre-sales processes / queries and help advisers navigate the platform or reach the best team to help them with their queries.

Within the Distribution Support team, our focus is to ensure financial advisers receive an excellent, above and beyond service & in turn deliver the best outcomes for our mutual clients. We strive to understand the needs of new platform users and to build trust in our service with those who have experienced challenges in the past.

A bit about the job:

· 
Work closely with financial advisers, maintaining existing relationships and help build new ones to understand the needs of each firm and their RI’s

· 
Respond to inbound calls / emails from financial advisers and provide support on a range of queries

· 
Ensure the correct decisions are made when deciding how to deal with an adviser’s request

· 
Identify new business opportunities and share with the sales team

· 
Be risk aware when dealing with adviser queries and ensure the correct processes are followed coupled with managing complex or time critical demands

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and be confident picking up the phone to speak to financial advisers and other Aviva teams

· 
An ability to question, problem solve, influence & negotiate to meet the right customer outcomes

· 
Evidence of strong organisation and time management skills and be able to work under pressure

· 
The ability to take full end to end ownership of cases and provide a stand out service

· 
Be comfortable in a changing environment which often requires investigation to seek out the right answer or team that can help support

Starting salary £23,900 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
