Are you someone with experience in the London Directors and Officers Liability (D&O) market? Then we have just the role for you!
The successful candidate will have good communication/people skills and will have to negotiate with the major broking houses in London and meet with large clients (for example FTSE250, major European companies) face to face in pre-renewal client meetings.
A bit about the job:
You will join the Management Liability team in Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS). The successful individual will be underwriting Directors and Officers Liability insurance, Pension Trustees Liability and Public Offerings of Securities insurance which are the main products in the Management Liability insurance suite.
Within this role, you will be responsible for underwriting renewals and new business in line with GCS strategy, and in line with agreed underwriting authority limits. You will be confident when conversing with stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver business objectives.
You will liaise with key stakeholders from our broker panel, along with leading technical conversations with our clients -so strong communication skills and time management will be important to this role.
This position will suit a motivated and professional individual who is keen to progress their career within a market leading insurer.
We can be flexible on location however, there is a requirement to travel to our London office three times a week.
Skills & experience we are looking for:

Underwriting experience across the Management Liability product suite, including D&O, Management Liability, PTL, Employment Practices Liability & Commercial Crime
·
Existing relationships with brokers within the London Market
·
Working toward ACII desirable
·
Track record of being responsible for own underwriting caseload within a regulatory environment, following due process and within set authority limits
·
Strong customer engagement skills in order to influence key contacts in the marketplace and deliver strong customer service
