Job description
The Growth Markets team leads business development and client relationship management across Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Middle East.
The team consists of experienced professionals from diverse international backgrounds with decades of collective expertise. This breadth of experience is underpinned by a strong commitment to client centricity, enabling the team to effectively serve a sophisticated, global investor base in multiple languages.
Client coverage spans a wide range of institutional investors, including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and other government entities, as well as pension funds, corporates, and family offices. The team also partners closely with regional and multinational distributors to support the distribution of our funds to retail investors.
The role is based in our London office.
What you do
- Lead business development activities for institutional clients across Latin America
- Develop, retain and expand long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at clients, prospects and distribution partners
- Identify new areas for business expansion including organic growth and new distribution partnerships
- Create awareness of AllianzGI’s strategic focus and leadership positions in Sustainability and Private Markets
- Use consultant contacts and market research to develop a broad-based understanding of clients’ investment objectives and trends/regulations within the respective markets
- Source and deliver products, solutions and papers that provide and demonstrate forward-thinking insights and emphasize AllianzGI’s position as a provider of innovative asset management solutions and global thought leadership
- Partner with colleagues across the firm including product specialists, portfolio managers, marketing and sales support to initiate and proactively support the development of targeted and tailored solutions, products and services
- Manage client base through consistent and comprehensive use of CRM tools.
What you bring
- Strong academic education
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Significant experience in the financial services industry, preferably within Latin America distribution
- Knowledge of both Public Markets and Private Markets investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices
- Willing and able to take frequent business trips to meet clients and prospects.
