Transformation Lead

Location: Norwich

Salary: Circa £60k

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced change and transformation leader to join us and play a key part in the delivery of UKGI's 2027 ambition. UKGI Transformation is undergoing its own transformation and the successful applicant will play a critical role in shaping the way we work in future.

This is a great role for someone with strong relationship management skills, and able to establish effective working relationships across a broad stakeholder group. We’re looking for someone with financial acumen, commercial awareness, and analytical skills.

A bit about the job:

You'll work across the whole UKGI Transformation Portfolio and play a key role in ensuring the UKGI investment is aligned to the right transformation programmes, in line with Aviva and UKGI strategy. You'll lead on monitoring the overall performance of the portfolio and ensure we remain on track to deliver our longer-term ambitions.

You'll work across the UKGI business up to Exco levels and will be accountable for providing insights across the portfolio. You'll take the lead on the production of regular and ad-hoc Exco and Board level papers including the GI Investment Committee.

You’ll be responsible for proactively engaging with peers across Aviva to understand the impact of the broader change environment on UKGI portfolio delivery. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining an ongoing view of the UKGI change portfolio critical path, and proactive management of project dependencies within and beyond the UKGI portfolio.

You'll also work with peers across the business to establish efficient ways of working across a 'hub and spoke model’.

As a small team, you will also get involved in the day-to-day operations of the team to develop insights across the portfolio and be a key point of contact for the Transformation teams in UKGI and Aviva Group

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Must have strong communication skills. Persuasive and articulate, ability to influence and negotiate at senior level, produce executive level outputs under tight deadlines.

· 
Proven track record in successfully operating portfolio-wide governance with the ability to work with other teams quickly and effectively.

· 
Change management, dependency management, financial management experience is a must alongside planning and complex process management skills.

· 
Strong knowledge and experience in managing portfolio level risks and issues - spotting the thematic and defining the interventions to ensure they don't turn into issues.

· 
Experience operating in a regulatory and financial services environment - and understanding of the General Insurance business and marketplace would be a bonus.

Starting salary circa £60k (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
