Senior liability Risk Consultant – Salary is competitive depending on experience

Are you a motivated self-starter liability risk consultant or someone who understands the value of engaging with clients and looking for a new challenge?

Here is the opportunity to work alongside an industry leading, innovative, creative and experienced team, in delivering Aviva’s prevention-first risk management philosophy to our global corporate and specialty (GCS) clients.

We are looking for a senior risk consultant to provide technical advice and support, problem solving and collaborative working to support our UK underwriting team and clients.

This role is homebased, with regular travel throughout the UK and potential occasional international travel to clients.

A bit about the job:

· 
Co-ordinating and managing risk programmes to support clients with forward thinking innovative market leading risk management solutions, that complement their business objectives, and improve the risk quality whilst reducing losses and exposure.

· 
Production of bespoke quality survey reports and risk improvements, including the preparation and delivery of presentations to senior client management

· 
Analyse, collate and interpret underwriting information to ensure pro-active risk management decisions and client strategic focus

· 
Providing objective advice and direction on a wide range of risk issues along with the ability to manage technical referrals from brokers, clients and colleagues

· 
Developing internal and an external network of stakeholder relationships to ensure people understand the GCS risk management business and ensure the best service is delivered

· 
Supports the GCS Casualty (Liability and Motor) account

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
A Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH) or working towards, who maintains and develops their technical knowledge, personal expertise, keeps abreast of current developments, changes in legislation and risk management trends

· 
Ability to strategically analyse complex information to draw out relevant facts that can be presented with potential solutions to effectively improve the risk quality

· 
Effective presentation skills along with the ability to develop and deliver training courses/workshops along with influencing and negotiating experience

· 
Knowledge of underwriting processes, policy wordings and non-conventional covers and the ability to translate knowledge and experience into actions to effectively improve risk quality.

· 
Good administrative and time management skills, able to organise workload and diaries to achieve objectives
