Senior Finance Manager – Capital Management

This is a great job for someone who has strong Capital Management experience alongside experience leading a team.  

A bit about the job:

Within this role the successful candidate will be running the day-to-day activities of the Capital Team, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of BAU and project-based tasks. You will assess Capital team performance, providing mentorship on goals, performing individual performance reviews and manage ad-hoc team issues. The main role of the Senior Finance Manager is to successfully manage capital and liquidity of each entity such that key stakeholders have assurance that legal entities are financially secure, and that AI can continue to service and support policyholders. The successful individual will be the face of the Capital Team and the point contact for any Capital matters that arise. In addition to this you will coordinate the annual Capital Planning process for all of Aviva Investors legal entities and set the forward-looking strategy for the Capital team including corporate entity balance sheet investment, dividend planning, legal entity rationalisation.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Qualified Accountant Qualified Accountant or equivalent

· 
Understanding of FCA and IFPR regulatory regime.

· 
Understanding of EU and global regulatory capital rules.

· 
Extensive experience of liquidity and capital management and reporting.

· 
Knowledge of TM1 / FCCS/ SSK an advantage.
