An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Exposure Management Team at Aviva based in London, Norwich and Perth.
The role will support the management of exposures across all property commercial lines of business written by the UK General Insurance division across the globe. It is an opportunity to put your stamp on establishing the exposure management framework and processes within the business.
Working with representatives from across the business you will be delivering improvements in the availability and accuracy of our exposure data, providing insights that inform our underwriting strategy and reinsurance placement. We are expanding the Commercial team to provide more bandwidth for analytics and ensure smooth delivery against regulatory requirements.
A bit about the job:
A major project is underway which will provide an innovative, and largely automated Exposure Management environment. This is a prime opportunity to put your stamp on the Exposure Management environment at Aviva.
The position will involve reviewing and analysing exposure data using 3rd party and proprietary platforms and tools and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and adherence to internal guidelines relative to Aviva’s Risk appetite.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
· Extensive experience within an Exposure management team.
· Practical experience of portfolio roll-up, implementing control frameworks, MI design, reporting and communication.
· Strong understanding of key mathematical and statistical concepts, and of CAT metrics such as PMLs and AALs.
· Attention to detail, with an inquisitive, analytical mind-set – a passion for pulling things apart and understanding both how they work and how they get used.
· Experience in working within an appropriate control framework to ensure robust delivery of figures for reporting desirable.

· Annual salary : Competitive Salary (skills, experience, and qualifications)
