Senior Credit and Investment Risk Manager – London

This is a great job for someone who has experience in Real Asset credit risk investment/ investment risk experience gained in another asset manager or another financial institution.

A bit about the job:

The scope of the Global Investment Risk Team is to provide independent challenge and risk management of investment risks - market-related risks borne by Aviva Investors’ (‘AI’) clients.  The Investment Risk team is part of the broader Risk function, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer (‘CRO’). The Investment Risk Team is responsible for the analysis of investment risk at all levels, i.e., within balanced funds and individual asset classes (including Liquid and Real Assets), providing expert analysis and challenge to the fund managers. 

The Credit Risk and Real Assets Investment Risk Team is responsible for Second Line oversight of:

· 
Individual investments in Real Assets (Real Estate Equity, Real Estate Long Income, Real Estate Debt, Infrastructure Equity, Infrastructure Debt; Private Corporate Debt and Structured Finance).

· 
Real Assets Funds.

· 
Money Market counterparties.

· 
Certain Liquid Markets Funds (Money Market; Buy & Maintain Credit)

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Professional qualifications in Accounting/ Banking /Finance /Business such as ACA/ACCA, IMC, CFA.

· 
Good knowledge of other MS Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint.

· 
Strong oral and written communication skills.

· 
Flexibility, versatility and adaptability.
