What will you be doing?
·
Develop highly effective, collaborative delivery teams through mentoring, coaching, training, and facilitation.
·
Guide and coach, the team to follow the values and principles of agile to create an environment of self-organization and continuous improvement
·
Work with the PO to ensure realistic Sprint/ incremental goals are set and consistently achieved with a focus on outcomes not tasks.
·
Ensuring impediments to team delivery are raised and resolved initially by coaching the team to solve them themselves.
·
Managing risks and documents as appropriately as they arise, escalating to Project Manager or technical roles as required.
·
Ensuring team dynamics grow in a positive way to promote smooth projects. It requires a keen understanding of individual strengths and team styles.
How do we work at Aviva ASEC?

The team is protected from internal and external influences that could impact the ability to deliver both at sprint and release level.
·
A regular cadence of necessary events and meetings is established with relevant stakeholders and experts invited. Meetings are focused and well attended and are of value to the project.
·
Relevant metrics are collected every sprint/ iteration and used to inform future planning and continuous improvement.
·
Progress is measured by the frequent delivery of working software and outcomes as well as tasks.
·
There is a culture of continuous improvement in the team and mechanisms in place to support it. Actions are frequently and regularly taken by the team to attempt to improve their performance.
·
All communications including project reports are produced to a high quality with a focus on visibility and transparency
·
All aspects of technical and quality standards are promoted in the team – Quality Assurance, coding standards, release standards, CISO, Service Fundamentals etc. to ever improve quality.

The needs of the customer are key, and decisions are challenged that are not in their best interests as defined by the Aviva Values.
·
Estimates are based on Agile approaches i.e., relative estimation and provided by the delivery team based on empirical data.
·
Team actively represented, and effective relationships are built and maintained with the stakeholder.
What we’re looking for?
·
At least 2 years of experience in Change Management and Agile area.
·
Practical knowledge of Agile and Lean tools and techniques to drive innovation and keep projects moving forward. It largely focuses on the effective delivery of projects and ways to ensure the team is clear about its objectives.
·
Knowledge of SCRUM and Kanban methods
·
Professional experience with Agile methodologies.
·
Experience using Jira, Confluence, or other relevant tools
·
English language proficiency at least B2, preferred C1
·
The ability to effectively manage budgets for a project and monitor them through the duration of it. It also includes techniques to keep costs down wherever possible.
·
Strong communication skills ensure teams understand the technical scope of projects and that senior leaders know what work is being done.
·
Ability to contribute and influence at different levels and functions.
·
Interest in learning about new information technologies.
·
Understanding of the phases of product delivery and that the team meets various milestones along the way. It also includes understanding things like incident management and service support so that products work as intended.
·
Whether for planning projects, forecasting timelines, or establishing roadmaps, planning is an essential skill that ensures projects run successfully. This skill also ensures teams work well together in harmony to meet shared goals and objectives.
·
Ensuring team dynamics grow in a positive way to promote smooth projects. It requires a keen understanding of individual strengths and team styles.
·
The ability to motivate teams and lead them to success in a project is a core skill to develop. From creating positive feedback loops for team members to effectively improving team -performance, motivating others is essential in this role.
·
Participation in projects carried out by Aviva as needed by business

Performing other duties at the direction of a supervisor.
