We are now recruiting a new member for our Quality Assurance team. In this role you will ensure we continue to give a great on-line experience to our customers by working with colleagues in a cross functional agile team

Key Responsibilities

As an Agile Quality Assurance Analyst you will contribute to the quality assurance effort on projects covering our 2 brands Quotemehappy and General Accident. You will collaborate with business analysts, product owners and technical leads to review and set story and feature acceptance criteria. You will be expected to perform various types of testing but above all you will show a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Whether that means going back to the drawing board with a problem or suggesting new ways to do things.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

·  Computer Science Degree or Technical equivalent
·  Excellent analytical skills
·  Experience in testing web applications or interested in doing so
·  Knowledge of software good practices like test-driven development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
·  Can describe when to use test automation and why

Desirable Knowledge & Skills

·  A background / interest in general insurance
·  Experience / knowledge in testing mobile devices
·  Experience with testing products on any of the following technology: .NET, SQL, XML, web services.
·  Experience using Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins/ Team City/ Hudson)
