Job description

Platform Manager – Salary Circa £70,000.

If you are ambitious, driven and want to get involved with document storage and production, then this could be a great opportunity for you. We have technology leading solutions that support change across the business portfolio for our ECM and CCM solutions, Alfresco and OpenText Exstream. You’ll know how to drive change and make a difference; you will need to be comfortable working in a large team and will need to be adept at identifying and managing stakeholders at all levels.

A bit about the job:

You will manage the Documents and Content platform team, working within Corporate Functions in Technology Platforms. The team is all about agile software development, working with project teams or directly with stakeholders to deliver change and provide communications to our customers via both print and digital media. We collaborate extensively across the business with operations, product, marketing, and test teams, so our focus isn’t only on improving communications but also the way we work. We make continual improvements to Alfresco as well, making sure it’s well maintained and as stable as possible for our customers.

The role requires excellent organisation, communication, and financial management skills to support and develop a well-rounded team that is keen to improve efficiencies, continues to deliver change to support the portfolio and supports each other well.

Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office, and this role is based in Norwich, Bristol, Perth, or York.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Excellent people management skills, to support a permanent team and management of GSP resources located in the UK and India and be able to manage stakeholders at all levels.

· 
Superb organisation, communication, risk and financial management skills.

· 
An ability to multi-task and reprioritise workload to manage the ongoing evolution of requests daily, whilst being flexible and delivering to commitments promised.

· 
Have an appreciation of the various methods of project delivery, including Aviva’s Service Fundamental and Risk and Control frameworks.

· 
Having background in Alfresco and OpenText Exstream, or other ECM and CCM products will greatly aid the successful candidate.

Salary Circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
