Investment Manager - Customer Funds

Salary: London – £65,000 - £75,000 / National – £45,000 - £55,000

Aviva have an excellent opportunity available within their Customer Funds team across the Aviva Insurance Wealth and Retirement business, for an experienced Investment Manager to join their efforts in aligning the investment strategy accordingly across their customer funds. This role would be suitable for an investment manager/consultant with experience across multi asset funds and public asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income), who wants to make a difference in supporting the financial wellbeing of millions of customers and develop their career with one of the leading UK life insurance companies.

A bit about the job:

You will be joining a very dynamic team that is focused on delivering strong financial outcome for our growing customer base. In order to deliver this, you will be involved in a large number of investment activities. The successful candidate will help design and implement our investment strategies across our range of funds taking into account their risk appetites, our managers’ investment capabilities and our ESG and climate risk approach.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

·  Deep understanding of investment markets and performance drivers relevant to multi asset funds gained from your experience with either insurance companies, pension funds, investment consultants or asset management firms.
·  Highly numerate and analytical with a developed capability to interpret investment data, challenge proposals and ability to find solutions to complex problems.
·  Strong communicator who is able to build productive relationships and influence senior management for positive outcomes in challenging situations.
·  Broad investment and asset class expertise in both liquid and illiquid markets (equity, fixed income, property, private debt, etc)
·  Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CFA/IMC) with post-qualification experience. ESG qualifications would also be seen positively.

·  Starting salary £45,000 - £75,000 (depending on location , skills, experience, and qualifications)
·  Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
