Role Description

At AVIVA Claims, we firmly believe in putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. We have vacancies within our team for people that believe the same. Using Systems Thinking methodology, we are growing teams that are capable of handling an injury claim end to end.

Experience or no experience, if you fit the skills profile below, then we would love to meet you. For the right candidate, we are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team and learn how to differentiate our customer service delivery in the injury world when dealing with policyholders, brokers, claimants and their solicitors. You will gain substantial technical knowledge as well as be able to really listen to the needs of those involved in the claim. We will provide a full immersion in System Thinking principles and you will have full time support, learning on the job, in a real time environment. You will learn how to manage your own time, caseload and customers, be able to thoroughly investigate the claim circumstances in order to make a sound liability decision, and make fair and reasonable settlement offers where appropriate. Everyday will be about learning in our team. You won't receive a formalised training plan - once we have taught you the principles of Systems Thinking, your development will be on live claims with permanent support in applying those principles. We don't want to teach you process and procedure - you will approach every case on its own merits and ensure that your actions are right for that particular injury claim.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

·  Ability to learn quickly, research and challenge as necessary.
·  Ability to listen fully to our customers and respond as required in each and every case.
·  Excellent time management skills
·  Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
·  Strong analytical skills and be an exceptional team player

You will be expected to bring all of these qualities to the role. We will help you to develop everything else.

The starting salary will be £15,500 to £18,250, depending on your overall experience. Following your application we may contact you by telephone to ask some further questions to support your application.

We offer hours to suit, whether that be 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday or shifts Monday - Sunday 8am - 8pm.

Additional Information
We prefer all applications to be submitted online, however if you require an alternative method of applying please contact Rebecca Fry in the Resourcing team on 0121 779 1443
