Role Description

An exciting new opportunity for a Copywriter on a permanent basis has arisen in London. The salary band for this role is £23,950 - £44,500.

The Background

UK Digital will be positioned as a distribution business, with an aim to deliver innovative propositions, leading digital experience and sustainable long term profit growth. Our ambition is to build more direct relationships with customers, growing from 3.2m Direct customers today to 5-6m in 2020.

Role Purpose

Working as part of the UK Digital Journey team this role will play a critical role in driving consistency, improving quality and optimising content on all UK Digital Assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Collaborate with external and internal teams to publish highly engaging digital content that adheres to Aviva’s brand tone of voice and offers an utterly simple digital customer experience.
· Build strong working relationships with internal marketing, risk and legal teams to ensure digital content is delivered in line with appropriate the regulatory, legal, product technical and brand guidelines.
· Cultivate strong working relationships with a large network of content creators across Aviva’s UK businesses, to deliver against customer and business goals.
· Collaborate closely with internal and external SEO teams to ensure content is delivered in line with best practice and standards, supporting ongoing activity to optimise natural search performance.
· Work with IT teams on a day-to-day basis to implement a diverse range of content executions, from simple updates to highly engaging and sophisticated new experiences.

Skills & Experience required

Knowledge/Experience

• Previous experience in a web copy-writing role

• Experience using and managing Content Management Systems

• Strong English writing and oral skills

· Experience of working in web, ecommerce and/or Digital Marketing environments
· Ability to challenge the status quo

Qualifications

· A marketing/Digital/e-Business/English or Journalism related degree would be advantageous but not essential
