This position reports to a dedicated sales manager. It involves the active management of clients through cold calling, face to face meetings and corporate roadshows

Specific Responsibilities 

Trainee to be involved in:
1. Provide financial advice to clients
2. Identify new business opportunities
3. Servicing and manage existing clients
4. Keeping up to date with insurance industry news and regulatory development
5. Establish relationships with corporate clients to generate new business

Technical Skills and Competencies

1. Knowledge of the different types of insurance products
2. Understand the end to end sales process
3. Acquire communication and interpersonal skills required to fact find clients and recommend suitable solutions based on customers’ needs and objectives
4. Acquire business acumen and negotiation skills
5. Effective engagement with clients at corporate roadshows

Duration of Attachment:

9 months

 

Eligibility Criteria for SGUP-EA:

• All Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible for the programme, with the exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead.
