Anaplan Model Developer

Job description

Aviva desires simpler, consistent and sustainable solutions to underpin Aviva's global processes in the business. In this role, you will help design and build these solutions using Anaplan as a strategic tool.

The role will work as part of an Agile team under the direction and mentorship of the Head of Anaplan CoE and Process Designers to build models that meet the business requirements captured by our business leads and analysts.

The role will involve:

  • Designing, building and testing Anaplan models for key stakeholders to meet the needs of the business processes, fully utilising the functionality of the Anaplan platform
  • Enabling end-users to engage with the models by incorporating dashboards and visualisation
  • Assisting in developing the Anaplan ecosystem to include Anaplan models, Qlik reporting and connectivity to source systems
  • Working with team colleagues to ensure robust processes are adhered to in terms of developing the Anaplan Ecosystem

Skills and experience we'd like to see:

  • Knowledge of Anaplan planning tool
  • Strong financial model building skills in e.g. Excel, TM1, Hyperion, etc. but preferably Anaplan
  • Previous experience of developing driver based models in a complex multinational organisation transformation/change programmes
  • Understanding of data models and hierarchies
  • Change skills including Agile & Systems Thinking

  • Salary between £50,000-£60,000 depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications
