ASEC is an international team that delivers actuarial systems used by Aviva business units around the world. The team is mainly focused on maintenance and development of in-house built tolls that support actuarial calculations.

What will you be doing?

· 
Develop our tools using Python, SQL and SAS.

· 
Lead the design of code changes subject to code standards.

· 
Perform experience analyses of life products and draw conclusions from them.

· 
Create and maintain appropriate documentation of the code, in line with EUC frameworks.

· 
Plan analyses and developments in one of the areas.

· 
Implementation and documentation of coding solutions and decisions will be required to ensure product owner / user expectations are met.

What we’re looking for?

· 
Experienced and adaptable code knowledge (in Python/SQL or SAS).

· 
Very Good analytical skills

· 
Ability to work with large data sets.

· 
Good critical thinking and proven problem-solving abilities.

· 
Ability to plan tasks in a project.

· 
Knowledge of statistics and/or actuarial mathematics

· 
Very good in spoken and written English
