The ALIP Configuration team within the Actuarial department is responsible for the successful implementation of critical processes and calculations in our policy administration system. This role will focus on the business configuration aspect within ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) related to the configuration of insurance/annuity products. As a Configuration Analyst, you will work directly with the business and IT teams to design, build, test, implement, and maintain product rules, functions, and transactional processes. You will report to the Configuration Analyst Principal.
What you do:
- Develop in-depth understanding of complex life insurance and annuity business processing
- Translate business operations specifications into ALIP system design, rules, and logic while ensuring best practices and standards are met
- Solve complex problems considering required business functionality, sustainability and scalability of solutions
- Review implementation solutions with key stakeholders
- Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues as they arise in lower and production environments.
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on system functionality
- Regularly assesses and develops process improvements within and surrounding the applicable systems.
- Develop operations expertise for all lines of business
- Work within an Agile environment focused on product delivery
- Communicate effectively with various teams, 3rd party vendors, and team members to improve turnaround time and efficiency
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
- Understanding of Life and Annuities business lifecycle
- Life and Annuities business configuration experience with a Policy Administration System; ALIP business configuration is preferred
- Understanding of SQL databases
- Strong version control and SDLC governance
- Advocate of Agile practices and culture
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
- 4-year degree required in technical discipline, engineering, business; or equivalent experience.
- Technology, business and project certifications preferred
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
