The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the development and promotion of a strong risk culture for technology risk across the organisation and help challenge activities and decisions that may materially affect the organisation’s technology risk profile.

 

About the role

  • Identify key and emerging technology and cyber risks impacting Allianz, supporting the organisation in risk management.
  • Provide value-add review and challenge activities related to technology and cyber risks facing Allianz.
  • Support Enterprise Transformation and Strategic delivery through advice provision for critical activities under Allianz Australia’s strategy.
  • Serve as a Line 1 business partner for technology and cyber portfolios, advising teams on aligning their risk obligations.
  • Assist business teams with business-as-usual risk management, including incident analysis, action plan adequacy, and closure evidence review.
  • Contribute to the Allianz Risk Management Framework by reviewing and challenging business assessments, ensuring adherence to the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS).

 

About you

  • Skilled in identifying, analysing, and assessing technology risks inherent to the business, collaborating with technology professionals to implement controls and actions for future sustainability.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to interpret diverse data, identify patterns, trends, and connections that guide judgments and solutions.
  • Proven ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, building strong professional relationships and influencing outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
