Pepsi Lipton is a global joint venture organization created between PepsiCo and Unilever in 1994 and has been growing ever since! It’s a ~$3 billion business and the global leader in Iced Tea with a presence in over 50 markets across the globe.

Iced Tea RTD (ready to drink) remains a massive growth opportunity globally, still only accounting for >5% of the LRB market and yet offering distinctive and on-trend tasty refreshment experiences. Main Purpose

The Insights functional purpose is to be cataylsts for conusmer driven decisions and this role seeks to do just that in the European region. As partner to the regional marketing and business team whilst reporting the the regiobal functional head, this role is to champion the consumer in every element of the business to enable brand and category growth. As a senior manager, you will also be expected to co-lead one of the functional experise areas beyond boarders, meaning you will also play role across the JV Insights team.

Key Responsibilities

·  Partnership with the regional Marketing Director and Brand Managers to create and develop insights that impact the innovation and communications program.
·  Identifying opportunities to develop the brand and its portfolio through strategic topics
·  Functional leadership on the brand communications development and deployment program, considering all channels.
·  Functional leadership on a select number of strategy initiatives for the European region, sharing and aligning with central insights team
·  Partnership with Unilever, Lipton Tea and Infusions and PepsiCo teams to created shared insights programs,  exploit learnings where relevant.
·  Partnership with the global, regional and local insights leads to ensure local insights are used to refine the program
·  Partnership with cross functional teams to optimise success criteria.
·  Co-owning an insights capability for the Pepsi Lipton Insights function.
·  Opportunity to coach and mentor others from within the JV Insights team
·  Support, Partner and drive Consumer Centricity into the Pepsi Lipton Insights organisation

Candidate Profile

·  A proven track record of identifying and turning insights into growth-generating initiatives, mobilising teams.
·  Experience in a consumer insight role partnering brand communication and innovation development and testing
·  Strong and experienced Insights methodological skills that enable best in class business solutions and decision making with the ability to bring fresh thinking.
·  A talent for building relationships, networks and collaborate both internally and externally.
·  Proven track record/working experience in Insights FMCG industry or Consulting
·  The ability to simply complex challenges and analysis into insights that can influence as well as demonstrating the commercial impact.
·  Previous experience of coaching and mentoring others

Main Interactions

·  Reports to – Insights Director, Europe
·  Main team Interactions – 2 x EU Insights Managers;  3 X EU Analysts; 3 x GL Insights Managers
·  Business Interactions – Regional Marketing Director and team; 4 x Business Directors; R&D Director and team; Finance Director.
·  Influences – Multifunctional regional and global teams (from both PC’s)
·  Manages – External agency partners

Location: Kingston, UK is preferred but alternative EU hub locations could be considered  (eg Rotterdam and Dublin) and some travel will be required.
