(Senior) Indirect Buyer – CAPEX

Job description
JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will support Procurement Manager in developing and executing supplier / site strategy for CAPEX/MRO (Maintenance and Repairs Operations) portfolio, which has annual spend of circa, 400mln EURO for 30+ manufacturing sites across Europe.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Assess market and adapt strategy according to market conditions
·
Develop and improve supplier cost models to drive increase in transparency of cost drivers
·
Unlock cash and cost value through setting up and execution of benchmarking, RFQs, E-tenders
·
Support and lead key supplier negotiations
·
Connect with site engineering and regional engineering teams and other business partners as well as with suppliers, to understand future technology and capability roadmap that supports value delivery
·
Allocate new services to suppliers to deliver best cost/service/quality in line with supply strategy
·
Support on-boarding of new suppliers by driving full quality and RPP compliance
·
Negotiate contracts in full supported by legal along with leading and decision making for commercial negotiations with suppliers
·
Regularly connect with global counterparts to ensure the portfolio is link with the global strategy and implement global strategy
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Procurement Insights and Analysis: Understand portfolio strategies and procurement requirements; Industry, global Strategy & Insights teams, economic, competition and supplier insights
·
Procurement Strategy Formulation: Developing services supply strategy; Develop supplier strategies; Integrating procurement strategy into the business
·
Procurement Strategy Execution and Performance Management: Competitive bidding and tendering; Supplier negotiation; Supplier qualification and on-boarding
·
Partnering with Suppliers to Win: Attract, select, manage and motivate partners by driving sustainability, supplier diversity and digitalization through procurement
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
·
Experience in Procurement (source to contract)
·
Experience on large-scale change management projects
·
Preferred experience in indirect category management (CAPEX/MRO) or experience in direct (technical) category would also be considered
·
Fluent English writing and speaking
·
Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management
