Main responsibilities :
Combining Category, Channel & Trade Marketing responsibilities working very closely with CD, Chefs and cross-functional teams with a true external orientation. Leading a Marketing team of 2-3 sub-ordinates with the main responsibilities:
· Insight, idea generation and concept development for professional solutions for key target groups of Hungarian Unilever Food Service business (Public Caterers and Restaurant & Hotel Chefs). Responsible for monitoring competitive environment and evaluating product quality on HU market
· Launch innovation/renovation in Hungary – Estimate size of opportunity, prepare strategic pricing and HU business cases, AW development, supporting communication materials
· Prepare/adapt all communication materials for key target groups and sales force market – selling stories, videos, product catalogues, promo leaflets, POS, and all other traditional communication materials
· Develop and lead annual channel activity and trade promotional calendar for HU (eg. seasonal promotions)
· Manage and execute trade (incl new food service channels)
· Manage training programs and events in HU in collaboration with chefs
· Be capable and flexible to lead and manage HU web site and lead digital communication to achieve digital reach and conversion targets
· Manage digital publishing calendars
· Brief & follow up newsletters and SMS campaigns
· Always-on content creation for CRM platform (ufs.com)
Business challenges:
Have all necessary regional resources allocated for delivering an activity and channel plan meeting HU country needs. Have the regional activity and promotional plans perfectly executed in HU.
Place in the organisation :
Hungarian Marketing Manager position is part of the South East Europe (SEE) multi country marketing organisation and reports directly to the SEE Marketing Leader based in Hungary. Hungarian Marketing Manager has 2 direct reports and an intern. At the same time also works close together with the regional Portfolio Marketing Managers, the Hungarian Country Customer Development Leader and his sales team, and the rest of the Hungarian cross functional team.
Requirements:
· High school or University degree in Marketing / Commercial
· Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in Brand / Channel and/or Trade Marketing. Other brand or marketing experience such as Digital highly valued.
· Leadership experience (managing and delegating to subordinates)
· Preferred any food service industry experience, market understanding
· Strong project management experience (3-4 years)
· Digital communication, campaigning experience (newsletters, Facebook, sms campaigning, etc)
· Influencing Others eg. CD team co-operation
· English fluent
· Driving licence (position has a company car)
