Job description

OVERVIEW

Every day, around the world, people reach for Unilever products. Our brands are trusted everywhere and, by listening to the people who buy them, we've grown into one of the world's most successful consumer goods companies. On any given day, 2 billion people use Unilever products to look good, feel good and get more out of life.

For Unilever, Beverages is part of a newly defined global Category called “Foods and Refreshment”. Unilever is #1 and #2 in most of their markets and have some of the world's biggest and best-loved brands like Lipton, Magnum and Ben and Jerry's. Refreshment is defined in Unilever as a ‘Win Decisively Globally' category and is a €10 billion business.

Tea is the second most popular Beverage in the world, behind just tap water, and Lipton is the 2nd biggest beverage brand and three times bigger than the next closest competitor in Tea. With over 100 years of delighting consumers, recent trends of consumers moving away from high calorie CSDs (carbonated soft drinks) and juices due to sugars, puts the Tea category and Lipton in the perfect position to see significant growth. With new technology as means to further entice consumers in this migration, only makes the potential and probability of success even greater.

Lipton Soft Drinks Ireland is a factory of around 25 employees based in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. Here we make tea kits, these raw materials are sent to bottlers around the globe who add water, sugar and acids. One kit produces 15,000 litres of ice tea. The factory produces these kits for countries all over the world.
