Job Summary:

The purpose of the Shopper Marketing Manager is to drive Unilever brand equity, Unilever sales and category growth in the channel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Work alongside Shopper Marketing team to align on strategies, processes, and objectives while managing business throughout daily program executions, creative development, brand/legal routing, scheduling, recapping, etc.
· Develop and execute world-class Shopper Marketing Plans. Plans will be developed in tandem with Customer Development, Category Management, Shopper Insights and Brand Building teams. Shopper Marketing programs should deliver on the brand Jobs-to-be-Done, drive category growth, promote cross-category conversion & be profitable for both Unilever & our customers.
· Shopper Marketing Manager will work to bring innovative thinking and excitement to the programs with a specific lens on the channel to drive insights driven plans.
· Review and recap Shopper Marketing programs in partnership with key internal stakeholders and present results back to brand teams. Use learnings to optimize Shopper Marketing programs in the future and identify the right strategy and tactics to drive powerful Shopper Marketing programming.
· Provide strategy and thought leadership around digital activation. Elevate Shopper Marketing plans by working closely with the Unilever customer and digital teams to penetrate customer marketing teams.

Key Requirements

· Undergraduate degree in Marketing, MBA a plus.
· 3 to 5 years' experience in development of brand business objectives and marketing strategies.
· Working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry, retail channels and account specific marketing.
· Understanding of promotional tactics, process flow, execution and fulfillment processes.
· Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
· Creative thinking to approach things differently than historical plan
· Strong communication and influencing skills.
· Highly organized, able to multi task and communicate with numerous touch points.
· Lead role in identifying and presenting new opportunities to cross functional partners and customers.
· Ability to fully collaborate with multiple stakeholders and customers to achieve mutual objectives as one collective team.
