JOB TITLE: Engagement Assistant CMI Manager – Global SUNSILK & TRESemme
JOB LOCATION: Singapore
RELOCATION TERMS: Local Terms only


MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

· Drive action against insight. Build and empower the Global SSK & TRES engagement team to understand consumer needs and desires and behavior deeply.
· Owner of Brand Engagement Insights and be the single point of contact for marketing on all things related to Brand Engagement
· Unleash insights within brand development (mix creation with focus on engagement/communication across all channels), brand fundamentals, advertising, media channels, DDM, brand purpose and positioning
· Provide strong analysis to support brand decisions through extracting, interpreting and communicating research learnings from various relevant engagement touchpoints
· Provide the business with actionable understanding of the markets and competitive landscape in context of various engagement touchpoints.
· Frame, structure, and synthesize relevant global trends to craft the story and drive action for cutting-edge Global SSK/TRES communication across various touchpoints
· Identify and lead new opportunities within digital marketing, example: influencer marketing, search marketing, website optimization.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Drive communication effectiveness across various touchpoints in Global SSK/TRES team by collaborating with key Engagement partners
· Report progress on key performance indicators (penetration, share, communication quality, equity, etc.) and provide a deep dive on key areas of decline and on the opportunities for growth with focus on equity/purpose/ad quality
· Be the owner of Concept to Communication consistency!
· Distil information from primary and secondary research (e.g. market information, ad hoc research) and provide useful insights pertinent to Global Engagement SSK & TRES
· You will be expected to run all projects independently after 2 months in the job
· Manage relevant IT tools as required (including PeopleWorld)
· Drive regular monthly reporting using continuous research methodologies, with the help of resources (e.g. Household Panel, Brand track – GTS, Nielsen retail audit) – add on .
· Design and delivery of market research projects (with support of CMI Manager):
- Determine optimal research plan and method (in line with Unilever best practice)
- Write market research briefs and co-ordinate the project with the research supplier
- Manage project within agreed budgets
- Drive insights based on findings
· Build own understanding of key business processes e.g. category/brand strategy, Integrated Brand Planning (IBP) and Communication (IBC)

MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Proven market research experience
· You will have solid experience of at least one of the areas below:
- Experience of key qualitative and/or quantitative communication development techniques
- Experience of continuous data sources; specially equity and brand health
· Proven record of analyzing and synthesizing data and information from different sources
- inspiring and provoking a team to think differently about the target consumer
- cross functional team-working
· Experience from FMCG markets and personal care/beauty categories preferable but not essential
- Global/regional experience will be a plus. Interest in foreign cultures is essential.
- Strong team player, yet good level of independence
- Good presentation skills and articulate
- Rigorous and with great attention to detail
- Highly numerate and adept at working with data.
- Passionate to go beyond the obvious
- Creative, open minded
- Able to adjust quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to offer full support to brand team and CMI colleagues
