BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ROLE

The aim of the role of Customer Insight and Innovation Executive is to use data as an enabler & catalyst  for increased growth and improved business performance across different channels or programs  encompassing the omni-channel space and Digital Commerce, to drive sales growth through  influencing more Shoppers, More Frequency, and Bigger Basket Sizes per purchase.

The role serves to create solutions to analyze data, draw findings and insights, and use the analysis to recommend actions to grow the business and improve business performance anchored on accelerating sales for the business. The role also optimizes performance of the campaigns and activities being implemented, using and analyzing the data and results to recommend ways to further optimize and improve performance over time and across more implementation cycles.

JOB SUMMARY

This role will handle Customer Insight & Innovation under the Category Management sub-function, in which he/she needs to:

·  Business Acumen & Customer Insighting: understand business needs and collaborate with business units to build and facilitate appropriate insighting activities
·  POS Analytics: Provide and communicate actionable customer insights by synthesizing market, customer data (POS accounts), and competitive data sources to capture a holistic understanding of the category
·  Planogramming: Render customer-specific planogram for a differentiated assortment view per cabinet (ice cream freezers) permutation and store type
·  In-store Innovation Ideation: Provide tools and enablers as a support to shopper, research for innovation & effective POSM, such as Eye Tracking, Virtual Reality, Retail Lab, etc

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

·  Graduate of a Business/Data Science or any related degree, experience in Data Science/Data Analytics is a plus
·  Should be a team player and possesses a professional and mature demeanor
·  Preferably with experience in FMCG industry
·  Willing to be based in Mangahan, Pasig and do field work from time to time
·  Passion for answering questions with data, and linking output to growth insights and recommendations for actions for growth
·  Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders to understand business questions/requirements
·  Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying source
·  Fully operational in the use of an analysis tool such as Microsoft PowerBI, and other Data Solutions
·  Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools (Azure) is a plus
