Unilever is currently hiring for two Culinary Sales Advisors

 

ABOUT UNILEVER FOOD SOLUTIONS

We are the independent B2B Nutrition Food Service team of Unilever. We have been working with food since the 1880s and are behind some of the world's leading brands: Knorr Professional, Hellmann's, Carte d'Or, Maizena, Maille, The Vegetarian Butcher and many more. We work with companies of all sizes, from restaurants, canteens, and hotels, as well as institutions in the public sector. Unilever Food Solutions is also a proud sponsor of the Norwegian National Culinary Teams and partner to Norwagian Chefs Association (NKL).

We a now looking for two Culinary Advisors. One in Oslo & one in west of Norway!

The role as Culinary Sales Advisor offers a unique chance to be part of a step change in our profitable growth by creating tangible, sustainable demand for our products from targeted foodservice customers. Our Culinary Sales Advisors have a 3-fold mission in which they are to apply deep chef expertise to bring solutions to operators and drive business growth and efficiency:

·  Creating and activating solutions for operators by visits, demonstrations, and kitchen training, while building impactful chef-to-chef relationships.
·  Developing winning inspirational dish solutions in close cooperation with marketing.
·  Building UFS reputation in the food solutions market as a leader in kitchen solutions.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Accountabilities

·  Demonstrating and activating our products with our customers.
·  Responsible and accountable for own district including retaining top customers and staying relevant to their needs and hunt for new customers.

Job duties

·  Customer visits: relationship building, menu analysis, solutions consulting (menus, recipes, waste management, food costs).
·  Demonstrations in customer locations or in Unilever Food Solutions Kitchen.
·  Menu, Dish, and recipe creation.
·  Planning and executing trade fairs and customer workshops.
·  Supporting marketing with material for use in social media – pictures, recipes, food trends, etc.

Experiences & Qualifications

Skills

·  High standard of culinary excellence, especially in plant-based dishes.
·  Kitchen operational knowledge.
·  Selling Skills.
·  Excellent listening and communication skills.
·  Numeracy, IT and digital skills, particularly in MS Office/Social Media (primarily Instagram & Facebook).

Preferably you speak Norwegian fluently, or as an alternative Swedish/Danish. Professional working proficiency in English is seen as a plus as this is our official corporate language.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Our main office is located in Fornebu. We offer the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to strike a balance between in-office and remote work.

Both positions are part of our sales team that includes travel to customers and some over night stays.
