Background & Purpose of the Job  

 

Unilever Philippines holds the lion’s share of the Postwash category. This is attributed to the decades’ worth of market development success behind the launch of Creamsilk, Unilever Philippines’ local jewel. 

 

However, in recent years, the growth of the category has been challenged. Due to rising prices amidst an inflationary economy, we see significant category dropouts and a rise in demand in low-priced brands. 

 

As the Postwash Design Sr. Asst. Brand Manager, you will be tasked to create the Portfolio Strategic Roadmap for the entire category. 

 

What You’ll Do  

 

The B&W PH Sr. Asst. Brand Manager Postwash (Design) is responsible for innovations management of postwash brands. 

 

As B&W Sr. Asst. Brand Manager for Postwash Design, you will be responsible for the following tasks:  

 

· 
Portfolio and Brand Strategy Development - formation of a strong portfolio & brand strategy, including identification of gaps and growth opportunities within the market, clear brand differentiation, and well-crafted portfolio and mix, giving the brand both short and long-term wins. 

· 
Full Mix Development & Consumer Testing – From consumer insighting & ideation to local crafting of full 6Ps for innovations that address consumer pain points & business opportunities, backed up by robust consumer testing       

· 
Strategic project management - Building project timelines and defining key milestones and responsibilities for effective progress and On Time in Full (OTIF) launches 

· 
Communication Strategy & Development - Craft robust communication strategy for brand campaigns & innovations with convincing and appealing assets, delivering single minded messaging to consumers in the most effective channels for the target audience. 

 

You may be required perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice.

Eye and Love for Beauty – As the market leader for Postwash and Beauty in the Philippines, we are in the position to set trends for the market so we must have the innate eye and love for Beauty as we develop materials, products, and visuals that will be first-in-the-market.

Agility – Beauty is a fast-paced category where trends come and go. You will need to be agile in spotting these trends with the strategic mindset to know which to leverage on.

Grit & Passion for High Performance – Beauty is a highly competitive category where we’ll always need to be on-top of business performance. One day you’re winning, the next day you’re declining. A winning mindset is a must so that we never settle for less.

Business Acumen – Being in Design does not mean you will only be looking at visuals and products. You will also be tackling business cases and operations so you need to have holistic business acumen to be able to land your projects effectively.

At least 2 years past experience in marketing
