Who You Are and What You'll Do
The Associate Brand Manager, DISH INNOVATION role reports to the Brand Manager, Home & Hygiene, and will support the evolution of the brand proposition & architecture, define Innovation strategic Pillars & White Spaces and craft Innovation Big Bets. This role helps create vital new product platforms to SVG Dish Wash with a focus on the US. This includes project leader responsibilities with cross-functional teams in the development of new products with a consumer-first mindset; taking projects from concept to production with input into related activities including business analysis, channel development and marketing and trade programs.

Key stakeholder and executor of Innovation agenda within the Dish Wash category, through collaboration with senior marketing leadership and cross-functionals to fulfill company strategies, support the social mission, and meet financial objectives for sales, gross margin, and profitability.

Bring strategy to life by developing assigned initiatives within the full marketing mix - product, price, promotion, place & packaging.

Work with an agile mindset to move projects through decision gates by communicating decision moments and complexities with senior leaders.

Participate in the development, management and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for assigned product lines.
·
Serve as Project Leader for assigned projects and contribute as Marketing SME to other squad projects. Projects can span design for channel, cost savings, supply continuity.

Track and manage assigned product development initiatives through cross-functional development funnel.
·
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results, and adjust as necessary to achieve desired business results. Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management.

Analyze consumer research, current market conditions (IRI, SPINS, Homescan, etc.) and competitor information to drive to effective innovation pipeline recommendations and decisions.
·
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboard to monitor performance and surface risks and opportunities.
·
Collaborate with Consumer Marketing Insights in primary consumer research, leading the development of consumer stimulus. Utilize results in planning efforts
·
Assist in the development of consumer category insights needed to determine market requirements for existing and future products, and to develop effective communication strategies.

Contribute to product positioning and key consumer messaging..
·
Work closely with Creative team on execution of new product packaging and artwork for product concepts.
·
Own innovations through first 100 days of launch and complete post-launch evaluation assessing success.
·
Coordinate with any external resources as needed (agencies, freelance, partnerships, etc)
·
Monitor and report on variances to product line P&Ls and associated budgets consistent with product/category/program objectives.
·
Collaborate with Channel & Customer Development to develop supporting sales tools.
·
Collaborate with the Brand Lab team on Dish Wash Activation plans, including support for ecomm, shopper marketing, sampling, and owned & operated content.

What You Need to Succeed
·
Bachelors Degree with MBA preferred and 3-5 years of brand management experience in consumer-packaged goods setting. Experience within Natural Products industry a strong plus. Must exhibit a passion for the company’s vision, mission and values.

Experience working within business analytics and interpreting results to drive decision-making (IRI/Nielsen, Spins, and customer-specific databases preferred).
·
Proven ability to understand and consider financial scenarios (e.g. product P&Ls, ROI analyses, etc).
·
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.
·
Exposure to a broad range of traditional and non-traditional consumer marketing techniques/vehicles (e.g. social/digital marketing, grass roots, PR, advocacy).
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable creating & delivering presentations.
·
Highly organized with ability to manage many different workstreams. Must have strong project management skills.
·
Team player with “can do” attitude.
·
Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.
·
Mature individual with capacity for rapid change and degree of ambiguity.
·
Willingness to travel when required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
·
Hybrid remote / open office environment – no special conditions.
·
Travel up to 25% of the time.
Pay : The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus : This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
