JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. The main purpose of the role is to guarantee the perfect execution of the Procurement Strategy into related categories. It considers not only the category itself, but also the factories and other areas in the Supply Chain. It is the position that links the main projects and materials strategies into the P&L of the category and in the daily routines of factories in Turkey & Middle East, while managing the major transformational and Innovations projects in procurement.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

·  Responsible for the effective management of the procurement BW strategy into action.
·  Innovation agenda: Act on category needs and translate into projects with
·  selected suppliers. Represent procurement in innovation projects. Deliver the Category design and deploy innovation agenda at Global and Regional level.
·  Support the business in E2E cost improvements by delivering the Material/PL Savings.
·  Support the development of new ideas from Procurement and propose them to the business for decision making and resource allocation. Support and Co-Lead 5S workshops and support regular 5S updates in the Category business group and unit.
·  Collect, monitor and manage market information, provide analysis and price forecasts.
·  Deliver KPIs such as savings & Innovations OTIF, inflation mitigation, cash, incident management etc.
·  Develop and implement strategies to mitigate inflation and create savings for respective portfolios.
·  Drive the Plastics Reduction targets as part of the overall Sustainability commitments.
·  Continuous support to the stakeholders and cross functional teams to provide visibility on the material market outlooks, inflation mitigation strategies and cost savings opportunities.

 

Experiences & Qualifications

·  The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years in similar positions in procurement, supply chain or finance business partnering to procurement or supply chain. The candidate may also have a discipline in Engineering, Research & Development, and/or any supply chain respective areas.
·  Excellent interpersonal networking with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
·  Ability to work in a fast paced, high change environment.
·  Analytical thinking and proven ability to solve problems and sustain results through a data driven process.
·  Fluency in English and Turkish is a must.
·  Negotiation & commercial experience in tendering, cost modeling, supplier selections.
·  Managing complexity of Materials, Suppliers and Services.
·  Working with multi-interfaces and cross functional teams.
·  Able to work with a variety of IT systems and have a strong knowledge of MS Office, PowerBi, SAP.
