The opportunity & responsibilities
We are currently looking Assistant Brand Manager to join our Home, Beauty & Personal Care team based in North Rocks.
The main accountability of the role is to co-lead new brand or project execution plans across Australian and New Zealand, across core and NPD projects. You will be working closely with key agencies, customer development teams as well as global teams and support with required administrative and marketing support to the Senior Brand Manager. You will be supporting brands such as Rexona, Tresemme and Simple to name just a few.
You will build productive working relationships with customer development, CMI, regional category team, finance, R&D and supply chain to manage the brand's day-to-day operations. As well as co-leads NPD projects with the Brand Manager to land instore execution and support with the customers
The key responsibilities in this role are:
· Work collaboratively with cross function teams for Product launch – packaging, artwork design, formulation, network timelines, supply chain, finance and customer development
· Builds strong consumer lead insights into new project / core development plans
· Build the 6Ps marketing and execution plan for your brands and categories
· Work in collaboration with media, PR and creative agency to create and execute the marketing communication campaigns in market
· Work in collaboration with Unilever customer teams to land the NPD and marketing communications in customers in stores
· Builds strong customer trade stories working alongside CD to present and land with the customer
· Ensure samples are available
· Work closely with global / regional brand teams on aligning and managing the brand plan for growth
You will bring
· Experience in Marketing – campaign and NPD launches, previous FMCG experience would be advantageous as would previous marketing experience in Beauty, Hair care or Personal Care
· Creative thinking

· Strong business understanding, both strategic & operational
· Strong communication skills
· Strong agency management skills as well as cross-functional understanding.
