Warehouse Operator

 

Our Warehouse in Amsterdam is the logistical European hub for spare-parts and finished products. We fulfill an important role between points of sale and various repair platforms.

 

What do we expect from you?

 

Main responsibilities:

 

Picking

·  Order picking (manually or RF Gun, no forklift) of parts and products based on packing lists and our system on SAP.
·  Checking picked orders for reference and quantity
·  Sorting orders by customer

Shipping

·  Create shipments in the system (SAP) for regular orders and returns
·  Recognizing and creating shipments for special destinations (non-EU) and taking care of the necessary paperwork.
·  Create shipments for products with “dangerous goods” designation.

Inbound/Returns

·  Receiving and registering deliveries, whereby a check is made on the number of packages and associated documents received.
·  Checking of contents of the received packages against packing lists and invoices.
·  Processing of packing lists and invoices in the SAP system.
·  Processing of claims (deviating quantities, wrong reference etc.) in the system and communicating them to the responsible departments.

Warehousing

·  Arranging received items per brand and category in the appropriate stock locations.
·  Creating/Adjusting new or existing stock locations
·  Keep stock locations organized, check expiration dates (FEFO), packaging contents.
·  Participate in annual and semi-annual inventory check.

 

What is your background?

·  MBO level is preferred
·  Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word)
·  Dutch and English speaking and writing
·  Strong client focus
·  Hands on mentality
·  Accurate and good with number sequences
·  Team player
·  Flexible
