The ideal candidate for this role is required to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. Accounting experience is preferred. The candidate should have a strong aptitude for working with figures and with problem solving skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and Excel skills. Previous knowledge of SAP and comfort with BI reporting systems is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a service-oriented attitude are vital for effective interactions with team members. The ability to travel as needed is a requirement for this role.

 

What are we expecting from you?

 

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will support the California and West Region by maintaining the Retail department budgets and by handling administrative tasks as needed. Budget maintenance is the primary responsibility of the Retail Business Specialist. This encompasses tracking, processing, and monitoring departmental expenses with attention to detail and accuracy. To do so, the Retail Business Specialist will coordinate with various departments within VCA and Richemont. The Retail Business Specialist will also institute new processes and dashboards to enhance precision. The role requires an organized professional with financial / accounting skills that can navigate a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. This role is based out of Los Angeles, California. 

 

In this role, you will:

 

·  Monitor actual spend vs. plan on an on-going basis, including benchmark analysis and reconciliation with finance dept.  
·  Support the Retail team in communicating and coordinating with vendors and external/internal partners.  
·  Create and monitor PO, invoices & payments. Track, and update budget tools for all projects.
·  Ensure timely payment of invoices and accurate tracking and reporting. 
·  Frequently communicate budget status to each department head.  
·  Keep track of participants’ expenses and ensure correct cost functions are used. Reconcile / reclass in partnership with finance team.  
·  Ad hoc projects as needed to support and streamline processes.

Expected Salary Range- $90K-$110K/yearly
