Customer Service Administrator/Logistics

Role Overview
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Administrator
(Logistics) is responsible for processing daily incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities include unpacking, packing, and shipping high value shipments. The roll also includes some administrative duties and will be expected to effectively support all policies and procedures. The role requires great attention to detail, and is responsible for error free shipping to guarantee customer satisfaction, retention, and a seamless repair process.
Responsibilities
· Process the spare parts / stock reception, packing and unpacking local & international shipments, intercompany transfers, stock postings, and any other processing necessary for Maions and products to meet departmental and interdepartmental production goals.
· Receive and open parcels from carrier in accordance with strict security guidelines.
· Pack parcels with product and corresponding product packaging in accordance with strict security guidelines.
· Pack hazmat shipments in accordance with FAA hazmat guidelines and policies.
· Ensure correct shipping label and documentation is completed according to company policies and procedures.
· Fill out BOL (Bill of Laden) and Airway bills for local, international, and high value shipments.
· Assist with managing the Receiving / Unpacking / Shipping Mailbox and provide email responses to the incoming inquiries from internal clients according to key performance indicators.
· Order packaging and supplies used to support the processes for the department.
· Deliver incoming items / supplies to internal staging areas based on name of recipient and department.
Qualifications
· High school diploma
· College degree preferred
· 2+ years employment in a production based environment preferred
· Previous SAP experience preferred
· Ability to be proactive, follow directions, make decisions, problem-solve, and adapt to change.
· Work with other departments on cross functional projects or tasks based on business needs.
· Escalate issues that concern missing product to direct supervisor and security upon discovery.
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, Windows.
· Ability to stand for up to 9 hours.
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
· Ability to handle / operate box cutters, tape machines, tape guns, and air film machine.
