About the role

· 
Identify, investigate and support the management of thematic, systemic, and emerging issues related to claims or complaints in General Insurance Claims.

· 
Support the investigation and determination of root causes of incidents and issues.

· 
Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations on business processes and protocol uplifts.

· 
Prepare clear and comprehensive and informed responses and updates to support the team’s response to internal stakeholders.

· 
Support the team’s engagement with internal stakeholders including Risk & Compliance, Legal and other business teams/units to collate data requested in relation to incidents and issues.

· 
improved decision-making, governance, risk management, and a supportive internal culture within AAL.

 

About you

· 
Strong operational knowledge and experience in claims and/or complaints

· 
Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.

· 
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex information, communicate clearly and make informed, thoughtful decisions.

· 
Understanding of regulatory and legislative compliance requirements that influence the organization.

· 
Experienced in resolving intricate claims management processes across diverse General Insurance product lines, with a collaborative and thoughtful approach.

· 
Skilled in addressing problems from multiple perspectives, offering flexible and creative solutions that align with both divisional and organizational values.

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
