We are looking for a Principal Business Analyst, based in Wallisellen, Zurich. 

  

Your Team 

The Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) line of business of Allianz Commercial creates innovative tailored structured insurance, captive reinsurance, and other non-traditional risk management solutions for a wide range of corporate and financial clients globally. We specialize in helping our customers mitigate their most complex risks with bespoke multi-year and multi-line agreements covering a broad range of risks, leveraging our expertise in alternative risk transfer and the global capabilities of the Allianz Group. 

 

The Impact You Will Have 

You will drive continuous improvement of Line of Business (LoB) processes by collaborating with relevant functional areas to review current processes, design, and implement necessary improvements. 

 

You will identify and implement the most beneficial and cost-effective solutions to enhance ART LoB's organization, value chain, harmonization of business processes, applications, and employees' technical skills. This includes catering to both global and local needs to build a highly effective and efficient organization that delivers profitable results to clients. You will also align with and leverage the skills, processes, and knowledge of the wider Allianz Commercial and Allianz Group to ensure effective application for ART LoB. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

· 
Deliver analysis, consultancy, and training to enhance global Allianz Commercial´s business operations in line with board-approved projects and strategic priorities. 

· 
Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of high-quality work by understanding customer needs and employing a methodical approach. 

· 
Identify ART LoB business improvement opportunities in alignment with business priorities, focusing on organization, processes, capabilities, and IT applications. 

· 
Create and support project proposals, including cost-benefit analysis, work package definitions, and resource planning. 

· 
Ensure adherence to global standards and guiding principles in all projects and initiatives. 

· 
Compile and share best practices across ART LoB, using various communication methods like presentations and workshops. 

· 
Champion methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, and OPEX; act as a coach and sparring partner for management and team members. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

· 
Extensive experience in project management, the domain of practice of the role and the insurance industry domain. 

· 
Cross-cultural and international work experience 

· 
Business skills: Break down complex subjects; determine status quo, business requirements, and target course of action. 

· 
Change Management skills: including stakeholder management, change curve, and communication. 

· 
Consulting skills: relationship management, customer satisfaction and understanding customer needs.  

· 
Leadership and decision making skills 

· 
Fluent English skills, any other languages advantageous
