The primary purpose of this role is to match the business needs with a streamlined transition from program to operations, providing a “seal of approval” for all new Technology solutions under the Transformation.

You'll be responsible for

· 
Leading the definition and management of critical operational readiness requirements, milestones, and activities to support the introduction of the Transformation solution into the Australian Operating Entity, while collaborating with local and global teams.

· 
Ensuring accountability for meeting Operational Readiness criteria and targets, making certain that all functional and non-functional requirements, as well as operational deliverables, are being completed, available, and embedded.

· 
Driving and tracking performance of operational readiness against defined milestones, while reporting on progress, risks, resolutions, and escalations of issues through governance channels as needed.

· 
Providing expertise in operational readiness, managing critical interfaces with key business stakeholders including Transformation Vertical Leads, Horizontal Leads, and IT Leads.

· 
Reviewing and influencing operational readiness requirements to ensure they are being addressed in security and risk assurance processes and are being effectively mitigated.

· 
Defining and communicating operational readiness capability requirements to the business.

· 
Managing and facilitating operational readiness exercises to support stakeholders in preparing to operate and maintain the new assets and capabilities being delivered.

About you

· 
Seasoned project manager with a strong background in operational readiness or service design for similar large programs. Comprehensive knowledge of the general insurance industry and financial services.

· 
Experience in building and executing UAT plans, including tracking, defect resolution, and sign-off

· 
Extensive experience and demonstrated broader understanding of the development of vision and delivery of strategy.

· 
Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.

· 
Ability to identify, analyse, and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls/actions to manage the risks for future sustainability.

· 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.

· 
Ability to identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, and then develop, present, and implement effective solutions.
