The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the overall Program Management Lead for large-scale Technology and Business Transformation releases. This strategic role requires an experienced leader who can effectively manage complex projects, ensure meticulous tracking of all program elements, and drive successful outcomes.

You'll be responsible for

 
·  Being accountable for the successful delivery of Business and Technology strategic outcomes through disciplined project and change management processes.
·  Leading Transformation agile releases from inception to completion, providing leadership, coordination, direction, and support to Business vertical areas, Technology teams, and key program functions.
·  Developing comprehensive Program Plans and Timelines, incorporating risk assessments and appropriate mitigations.
·  Identifying project risks, issues, and dependencies, and establishing mechanisms for detailed tracking and resolution, while escalating issues to secure the necessary focus and attention, driving items to closure, and ensuring accountability.
·  Building and maintaining relationships with a broad range of stakeholders while maintaining delivery commitments.
·  Establishing and maintaining a robust project governance framework.
·  Balancing high-level program governance with the ability to deep dive into critical items to find resolutions.
·  Managing project schedules, tracking progress, ensuring the delivery of project deliverables, and reporting into senior stakeholder forums.
·  Overseeing release-level resourcing and financials, including budget, forecasting, and ongoing monitoring.

 

About you

 
·  Demonstrated experience as a seasoned program manager, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex transformation projects within a similar large organisation is highly essential. Sound knowledge of the general insurance industry and financial services is beneficial.

 
·  Experience in end-to-end project delivery, from business case development through to execution and implementation.
·  Experience in building and executing UAT plans, including tracking, defect resolution, and sign-off.
·  Extensive experience and demonstrated broader understanding of the development of vision and delivery of strategy.
·  Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes, such as working on change initiatives, projects, and process support.
·  Significant experience in definition, mobilization, and delivery of a portfolio of projects and the application of appropriate methodologies.
