Group Life & Health Underwriter

Job description

Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for managing group policies coordinating related activities including quotations preparations, renewals studies including alternative solutions to existing programs and handling of related queries from clients/agents, brokers and internal stakeholders.

 

What you will do

·  Underwriting / Pricing the renewals of all group life contracts
·  Underwriting / Pricing the group life/pension quotation
·  Request for Tender for Public or Global Clients
·  Statistical data per policy (claims LossRatio, claims analysis per person per policy)
·  Calculation of Mathematical Inventories
·  Monthly submission of data to the Technical Directorate
·  Cooperation with the Financial Services for the quarterly shipment to the Headquarters of the details of the Captive contracts
·  Communication with customers / partners
·  AGB pooling reports

 

What you bring

·  Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Insurance or another related field
·  Master’s degree or/and relevant professional qualifications are a plus
·  2 years of experience in a similar role
·  Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially in MS Excel
·  Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken, written)
·  Attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines and results oriented mindset.
·  Negotiation and problem-solving skills
·  Communication and collaboration skills
·  Customer service oriented mindset
