CASE MANAGER LEVEL 2 – WORKERS COMPENSATION – SYDNEY CBD

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure Allianz Workers Compensation internal and external customer expectations are met through development of case management strategies tailored to the needs of indicial injured works that are designed to facilitate early return to work and/or management of claim entitlements, appropriate and timely treatment and effective management of costs.

 

About the role

  • Deliver high-quality customer service for claims under the Nominal Insurer, focusing on solutions that meet customer needs and expectations, ensuring proactive and timely responses to claims-related queries in line with Allianz standards.
  • Meet all internal and WorkSafe standards for claim processing, including mail management and accounts payment, while adhering to Allianz policies, privacy, and record-keeping obligations.
  • Accurately determine liability and compensation entitlements using WorkSafe tools and internal resources, with a focus on recovery and supporting injured workers through all aspects of the Personal Injury system.
  • Collaborate proactively with stakeholders to achieve sustainable return-to-work outcomes, ensuring liability decisions align with WorkSafeQDM policies and utilizing resources to determine entitlements.
  • Contribute positively to team goals by working collaboratively, assisting team members, escalating client issues for resolution, and complying with Allianz health and safety policies and procedures.

 

About you

  • Experience working within a Workers Compensation environment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Products.
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products, Novus and Acction.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
