MOTOR PRICING ACTUARY

Job description
The candidate will provide support to the Motor Pricing Team across the full spectrum of analysis regarding data collection and exploration, predictive modeling, Motor Tariffs development or review, corporate and automotive quotes, Technical Price definition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop independently technical analyses in alignment with Group Best Practice, following the whole Tariff process:
- Data collection and preparation for further analysis and modeling
- Overall Rate Requirement analysis
- Technical analysis with advanced statistical techniques for risk and behavioral models
- Scenario testing analysis to evaluate the impact of different tariffs on portfolio performance
- Assess on a regular basis the quality and correctness of the models and analyses
- Develop reports based on updated predicted KPI's
- Continuous alignment with Group best practices and technical documentation update
- Develop independently Fleets and Automotive quotes
- Interface with other business functions
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Master's Degree in quantitative subjects (e.g. Actuarial Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics)
- Experience on Motor pricing (2 - 5 years) in Insurance Companies/Consultancy Firms
- Advanced knowledge of the whole Tower Watson Suite (Emblem & Radar, Classifier) would be a plus
- Proficient with SAS, Python and Office suite (incl. VBA for Excel)
- Advanced analytical skills (GLM/Machine Learning approach)
- Expertise in Fleets and Automotive quotes would be a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
- Curious about new approaches to pricing and committed to continually increase technical knowledge
- High problem-solving attitude
- Proactive, result-driven working style
- Fluent in Italian and English
Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 35.000 gross and € 45.000 gross.
Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.
The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
