SALARY: up to £30,000 dependant on experience
Quarterly bonus structure + additional benefits

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

There are over 30,000 salons and freelance hairdressers in the UK as well as the fast growing area of barbers that all want professional hair care brands. The haircare industry is segmented in to groups based on differing levels of products and services they offer. The role of the Telesales team is service the salons and barbershops at the lower end where the ‘mass' of the customer base sits.

This role will firstly help create and implement a small telesales function into the core of the Business. This will involve recruitment, systems and process development, setting targets and creating sales stories. The role will then be to lead the team to deliver sales and KPI targets on a monthly and quarterly basis. A key focus will be to build and manage the database of accounts with the aim of holding details for as many customers as possible. This role will be expected to service accounts by telephone, promoting and selling TIGI products, taking orders and gathering information.

The role provides an opportunity to not just lead a telesales function but to create one. It will also give experience in premium brand sales and commercial expertise in the environment of the professional hair-care industry. Building customer focus and relationships through the management of salons and barbers, demonstrating good selling and communication skills to drive growth in a challenging and competitive market.

JOB SUMMARY
· Help with the creation of the Telesales function
· Handle the day to day running of the telesales team, ensuring that the company standard is met and motivate the team to exceed targets.
· Hitting your own monthly/ quarterly sales targets
· Delivering KPI targets (calls per day, new distribution, promotional campaigns etc)
· Building the database to customers through cold calling/ prospecting
· Managing and developing the CRM system
· Ensure the team has all relevant materials to allow them to succeed in their job
· Attending sales meetings and contributing constructively demonstrating forecasted prospect/pipeline in your teams.
· Liaising with the other functions to further develop key business relationships and ensure the team are up to date on relevant information
· Develop the team's capability

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum 2 years' experience in sales or telemarketing
· Experience of team leadership/management
· Experience in selling and prospecting with proven results
· Strong communication skills
· Team development
· Time management/planning
· Self-motivated with the capacity and desire to motivate others
· Proficient in Microsoft office, databases and other computer applications
· Drive to close the sale and exceed targets
· An outgoing and positive attitude with a desire to progress
· Ability to work proactively and consultatively
· Demonstrates passion to achieve results
· Experience managing CRM systems / databases
