POSITION SUMMARY: 

The position requires an aggressive go-getter personality who is familiar with local markets. S/He needs to have a strong ability to achieve assigned sales and distribution targets. S/He should be sound in fundamental quantitative techniques.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Delivery: Growth, Quarter on quarter & Annual delivery as per plan execution metrices and market share growth. This includes;

·  Ensure product availability at all relevant channels
·  Solely responsible for planning & achieving monthly/ yearly target
·  Distribution infra and required investment in the business
·  In charge of distribution set up and secondary sales force set up
·  Networks with internal stake holder for achieving overall sales objective and extends support through secondary sales set up for implementation of all activities.
·  Implement all activation (Trade / Consumer) & merchandising (Visibility) programs.
·  Facilitate timely and quality feedback for all activities as per guidelines
·  Overall accountable for all operational programs in the assigned area.

Coaching and Development : Coach and lead sales team (CD Team & entire front-end execution team).

Area Sales planning : Custodian of Unilever business in the assigned territory. Leading the Category operations planning, Quarter Growth Plan and delivery. This requires strong understanding of categories coordinating plans with Marketing, Supply Chain, finance team and other supporting functions as well.

Leading Sales & Operating Process: Landing the Quarter Growth Plan involves detailed working with Supply Chain team in building right estimates and targets and ensuring that the key process gates are followed.

Leading the Customer management actions: Including infrastructure review and set up, recruitment/termination of RS, customer meets, etc. This includes;

·  Distribution infra and required investment in the business
·  RS Claims preparation and submission as per company timeline
·  Distributor appointment basis the company guidelines

Execution : Delivering top class execution of launches, Assortment, Leveraging Distribution that require planning, directing and tracking.
