JOB PURPOSE

We are currently looking for top talent to reinforce our internal supply chain consulting team - Supply Chain Strategies (SCS).

The team was established 10 years ago to realise key business goals by

leveraging the scale of the global Supply Chain network and resources. They brought into Unilever methodologies to create value by looking at the Supply Chain differently, being more strategic and thinking longer-term. The team and its role have evolved over time and SCS continues to challenge itself on the why, what and how strategic Supply Chain initiatives can create value towards the company’s most ambitious goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Work as a supply chain strategy business analyst, as part of the SCS team on projects across product categories and regions
·  Contribute to strategic business initiatives and support in driving the business groups leadership agendas in supply chain and operations topics
·  Perform end-to-end operational optimizations, identify opportunities and deliver recommendations through in-depth data analysis
·  Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing mix and business strategies.
·  Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
·  Examples of projects: manufacturing network design, make vs. buy, capital investment evaluations, complexity cost optimisation, design to value, route-to-market, cost to serve, internal and external benchmarking, competitive intelligence, E2E value chain analysis, etc.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

·  Experience in consulting, consumer goods, apparel or retail is preferred
·  Prior experience in: data analysis, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, digital supply chain or ecommerce is a plus
·  Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
·  Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
·  A good understanding of cost accounting, financial accounting and project management
·  Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capability and critical thinking
·  Comfortable in cross-functional teams, preferably in a multicultural environment
·  Masters qualification preferred especially in engineering, supply chain, finance or marketing
·  Good storyboarding and presentation skills
·  Fluent in English
