KEY ROLE DESCRIPTION

To agree and manage the procurement of all packaging and raw materials as per Production Plan.

Main Responsibilities

Material Requirements Planning

·  Drawing up a long-term and medium-term plan for the supply of raw materials (delivery schedule) and materials in accordance with their planned consumption.
·  Development and support of a system for determining the optimal order size and inventory.
·  Management of the shelf life of raw materials and packaging materials, minimizing the risks of delays, through the initiation of changes in the production plan, the use of raw materials in other types of goods, the sale of raw materials and other measures.
·  Participation in the preparation of the schedule of deliveries to the warehouse, its coordination with the warehouse service, considering the optimal workload of the warehouse staff. In case of violation of the schedule by the supplier, carrying out corrective measures.
·  Maintaining up-to-date RPM master data in the SAP system.
·  Review and maintain forward material requirements within working capital targets for packaging and raw materials - i.e. minimize stockholding whilst ensuring sufficient supply.
·  Have regular meetings with key suppliers to identify and manage possible constraints.
·  Provide suppliers with a rolling 13-week forward estimate on a weekly basis.
·  Co-ordinate material planning activities to meet production plans.
·  To manage material write-offs at launches and re-launches.
·  Understand and manage all inventory requirements: e.g. stock cycle, hidden inventory levels safety stock, minimum order quantity (MOQ), lead time, product shelf life (shelf-life)

Job Key Requirements & Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ management. / MBA preferred
·  2-4 years of work experience in Planning or Supply Chain experience
·  Proficiency in PC based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite), SAP
·  Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
·  Strong command of the English & Hindi Language.
·  Good Planning and Analytical Skill.
·  Strong growth mindset and team spirit, proactive approach to issues and opportunities.
