Operating in 73 different countries, Unilever Food Solutions is the innovative and growing Food service business of Unilever. Through combining a world-class product portfolio, knowledge of our customers and investment in our staff, we deliver year-on-year growth through offering chefs and caterers tailored solutions, helping them to expand their business and do what they love.

Currently the industry relies on sales reps visiting chefs to generate demand. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and digital communication offer a huge opportunity with future growth for UFS, driven by contact strategies to reach the operators we do not visit.


JOB PURPOSE

As a member of a team of highly motivated, skilled and experienced engineers, the successful candidate will take joint responsibility in ensuring the successful implementation and rollout of E-commerce Mobile Apps (Android/iOS). You need to collaborate with back end developers, designers, product owners to constantly improve customer experience within iOS platform and build native iOS components.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?

Using cutting-edge technology to build innovative features that can blow the minds of customers.

Working closely as part of a dedicated, empowered Scrum team to deliver the product backlog, meet the sprint goals and contribute to the team spirit

Work on features and areas of the app that will impact millions of users.

·
Collaborate with back end developers, designers, product owners to constantly improve customer experience within iOS platform and build native iOS components.

·
Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation and deployment.

·
You document your own code and you make designs for the critical uses cases.

·
You integrate your part of the development to integrate seamlessly in the overall project.

·
Designing, implementing and debugging high quality, maintainable automated scripts for integration, acceptance and regression tests.

·
Playing an active role in reviewing and enhancing user stories, preparing for planning sessions and adding value to sizing sessions.

·
Using “lean” thinking to increase efficiency, eliminate waste and contribute to the agile company culture by participating in continuous improvement.

Maintaining close communication with the product owner, scrum testers, designers and scrum master, across local and remote locations.

·
Proposing technical solutions and developing ideas autonomously, diving into detail and understanding the root of the problem, and demonstrating ownership until the full solution is implemented.

Bringing quality to the heart of the software development process by up-streaming testing, through intelligent and creative use of test automation.

·
Contributing towards the departmental goals, technical excellence, growth of the team and knowledge sharing across other teams.

SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE
·
At least 5 years of experience as a developer using Swift2.0, Objective-C and other languages

·
At least 3 years of this experience must be from working with iOS application development using iOS SDK

·
Deep understanding on how to design and interact with RESTful APIs

·
Knowledge of Cocoa, Objective-C and XCode.

·
Proficient understanding of versioning control tools (e.g. : GIT / SVN)

·
Experience in delivering across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.

·
Knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and a strong passion for software development

·
Knowledge of SQL, Java and Android App development is a big plus

·
Experience with Hybris is a big plus

·
Fluent English communication skills, verbal & written

·
Proven ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

·
Eagerness to research and improve best practices for problems

·
Experience managing mobile release deployments

·
Experience with unit and functional testing, debugging, and performance tuning

·
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities consistent with the organisations' goals and objectives.

EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE

Essential:

4-7 years of working experience

At least 2 years of software development experience in an agile environment.

Must have extensive knowledge and programming experience.

Global context

Desirable:

Computer Science/Information technology degree or equivalent qualification
