MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Services Analyst is a key role ensuring continuous improvement of the People Data Centre organisation, through the identification and development of new service offerings aimed at improving Unilever's consumer insight and engagement capabilities. Part of the global PDC Capability Centre, this role helps drive service and process improvement across the network of PDC delivery hubs globally. If you have an analytical mind-set, are results-focused and plugged in to the cutting edge of consumer insights & engagement with an ability to turn concepts into reality this role is for you!

JOB SUMMARY
· Help to assess and prioritise innovation candidates
· Assist Services Manager by developing new PDC services and pilots
· Collate and communicate best practice across all global and market/cluster PDCs
· Build statistical/analytical models for service delivery
· Lead delivery of new (innovation) analytics services
· Devise and advise on options for new analytics techniques and methods
· Actively seek out/network with 3rd parties to identify new and emerging capabilities
· Configure advanced tools, such as NLP, visualisation etc, where some domain knowledge is required and/or programming skills are necessary
· Stay informed about upcoming trends or any other major changes that could provide an opportunity or pose a threat to the PDC insight strategy
· Build queries and conduct analysis (sentiment, influencers) to fulfil advanced business requests
· Advise on industrialisation of services
· Work with external parties to identify new innovation opportunities

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Primary Traits

· Numeric or critical thinking background (degree or equivalent, Masters preferred)
· Substantial business experience
· Experience with consumer goods data sets
· Experience with social listening and NLP tools
· Experience with different analytics tools
· Data modelling experience

Secondary Traits

· Foundational development/coding skills
· Involvement in Analytics/Big Data communities (online, industry groups, conferences etc.)
· Experience driving business value from consumer insight
· Experience co-ordinating the introduction of a new internal service or capability in a large organisation.
· Passion for the social and digital world and its implications for business
