Job Title: Senior Strategy & Technology Manager
Workplace: Shanghai
Reporting Channel: Report to BU SC Lead – Nutrition North Asia
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Technology Development, Project Delivery and Capex Management
a) Develop SC sourcing strategy, based on business strategy, technology compatibility, E2E cost optimization and value chain improvement, to support business growth for margin accretion and capability building.
b) Lead technical team to define the technology roadmap, from processing to packing, to align with business strategy to boost existing core growth and future core cultivation.
c) Lead team to develop technical solutions and capex proposal for all innovation, renovation, and capacity expansion, as well as future fit capability building.
d) Deliver process optimization and validation to deliver saving, line extension, new product launch etc.
e) Develop new capability know-how and technical solution based on business strategy and new portfolio.
f) Operation monitor and issue management, to support factory to improve quality, service, and cost etc.
g) Lead critical project from project management perspective to governance timeline, spending and quality, e.g. Project South
h) Work as gate keeper for capex management, by working with factory to validate the design, supplier selection, costing etc to ensure the technology & supplier selection is in line with BU Strategy
i) Support factory to cope with chronic issues by adapting WCM way.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree on food process/engineering.
· Solid knowledge on food process design and development
· Good knowledge of process and packing equipment
· Rich experience in operation, especially WCM, Lean etc, able to clearly understand operating principles and establish correct operating standard, the experience as factory operation leader is a plus
· Rich experience on project management, timeline delivery and risk control, especially in fast & high agility projects
· Passion to work in fast reaction & continuous optimizing environment.
· Self-motivation, good time & multi-task management and problem-solving capability.
· Fluent English communication, both oral and written.
